This role sits within Today Media, the performance-driven digital and offline media arm of VMG. Today Media specialises in delivering highly targeted, data-driven advertising campaigns for property developers and real estate clients across Australia.
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Performance Executive to join our team in Melbourne. This is a full-time, in-office role requiring hands-on execution, deep analytical skills, and a strong understanding of both digital and offline media planning.
The Performance Executive will be responsible for end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic impact. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multi-channel media campaigns, working with key industry publishers such as realestate.com.au and Domain, and handling financial responsibilities such as budget forecasting, invoicing, and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan, execute, and optimise media campaigns across digital (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, display, search, video, social media) and offline media (print, radio, out-of-home advertising).
● Work closely with internal teams and clients to develop data-driven advertising strategies tailored to the real estate sector.
● Analyse performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools to extract insights and improve campaign outcomes.
● Manage media budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and financial reconciliation, ensuring all bookings and transactions are accurate and error-free.
● Build relationships with major publishers such as realestate.com.au, Domain, and other property-focused media platforms.
● Mentor and assist in the training and development of a Performance Analyst, providing guidance and leadership.
● Collaborate with Today Media leadership, data analysts, and creative teams to drive marketing innovation and maximise business results.
● Stay informed about emerging industry trends and apply best practices to enhance campaign performance.
Key Requirements
● Relevant degree qualification
● Minimum two years of experience in a performance marketing, media planning, or advertising role.
● Expertise in digital marketing, including Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and programmatic media buying.
● Experience in offline media buying, including print, radio, and out-of-home advertising.
● Strong financial and analytical skills, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
● Proven ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop strategic recommendations for clients.
● Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
● Experience mentoring or training junior team members is highly regarded.
● A passion for data-driven marketing and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Melbourne office. Remote work is not available for this role.
