Verian Australia is the country’s largest, and most specialised provider of government behavioural strategy, consulting, and evaluation services.With offices in six states we focus on providing government agencies with solutions to some of Australia’s trickiest questions, like:

  • How do we enable the community to begin the process of developing a shared understanding of sexual consent – with the aim of reducing sexual violence and assault?
  • How do we protect women and children by continuing to contribute to the evolving community sentiment around respect and domestic violence?
  • How do we re-engage Australians and remind them how to travel safely overseas in a ‘post-pandemic’ environment?

This role will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Leads shape, design and execute Quantitative and Qualitative research
  • Assist in proposal and report writing
  • Ensure all projects are scoped, costed and managed effectively
  • Analyse data using Q/SPSS and translate the data into meaningful insights
  • Help design appropriate methodologies, develop approaches and utilise frameworks to deliver strategic outcomes for our clients
  • Supporting the design of quantitative surveys and facilitating qualitative IDIs, workshops and groups

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a skilled, talented and curious researcher with 2+ years experience
  • Have experience working with data and using analytical tools such as Q and SPSS
  • Be passionate about behaviour change, policy development and evaluation within the social and government space
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Have a track record of executing projects with ease, backed by solid analytical abilities.
  • No be afraid to think outside the box and explore new ideas, using your creativity and innovation to solve complex challenges with our clients
