About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join a leading financial services organisation based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs. This initial 12-month contract offers the chance to develop your accounting skills, support key financial processes, and work within a high-performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support finance operations and process improvements.

About You:

• Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
