This is not a corporate finance reporting role—it’s a high-impact, commercially focused position where your models will drive real business decisions across cash flow, profitability, and operational strategy.

You'll be responsible for building and maintaining a 3-way forecast (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet) and delivering actionable insights on key metrics like EBITDA, cash conversion cycles, gross profit, and working capital.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Modelling & Business Performance

• Develop and maintain the 3-way financial model (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Provide insights into EBITDA, cash cycles, and working capital to drive business decisions.
• Run scenario planning and stress testing to model the impact of market changes, supply chain disruptions, and strategic decisions.

Forecasting & Cash Flow Management

• Deliver rolling forecasts that help the business stay ahead of financial challenges.
• Identify opportunities to optimise cash flow and working capital, balancing inventory, receivables, and supplier terms.
• Ensure financial forecasting is fast, accurate, and actionable—no unnecessary complexity.

Commercial & Strategic Finance

• Partner with teams across retail, supply chain, and operations to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
• Model product pricing, margin impact, and cash flow implications of major business moves.
• Help identify and prevent financial risks before they become problems.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify ways to improve financial processes, making them faster and more efficient.
• Use technology and automation to streamline forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting.
• Ensure financial data is clear, accessible, and useful for decision-making across the business.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in Financial Modelling & FP&A – Ideally 5+ years in a Financial Analyst, FP&A, or Commercial Finance role.
• Strong grasp of cash cycles, working capital, and forecasting – This is about business performance, not just accounting.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets & Modelling Skills – You can build, adapt, and optimise financial models at speed.
• Clear, Concise Communication – You can explain financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
