The Rover - Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse Operator is a Full-time position, where you will support our Gyprock Trade Centres across Queensland. Reporting to the Area Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre and assist in the deliveries of Gyprock to our customers and working within the warehouse. In This Role You Will

  • Travel between various locations across our sites in QLD
  • Overnight stay maybe required on some occasions
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers (walk in, email and phone)
  • To assist in the day-to-day activities within the store
  • Processing orders, invoices and payments
  • Maintaining high standards of displays and merchandising in our store.
  • Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
  • Covering the Store Manager position during absenteeism periods.
  • Assisting with running SAP reports.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with a 5am start periodically required. About You

  • Forklift licence and experience is essential.
  • Experience in customer service or trade counter sales, preferably in the building or construction industry.
  • Ability to handle sales transactions, process orders, and manage stock inquiries.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
  • Flexibility in travelling to different stores each day, as required by the business.
