The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience to join their Personal Injuries team. This role will see the right candidate assisting with client enquiries and doing support work in compensation matters that span various areas, including Motor Vehicle Accidents, Work Injuries, Public Liability, Medical Negligence, Total and Permanent Disability, Institutional Abuse matters across most state jurisdictions, but mainly QLD & NSW. They will receive ongoing training in this area as an experienced paralegal and support the lawyers in the team acting for their clients. They must deliver high quality legal services to clients, have exceptional organisation skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a large team. The Role Will Require You To
- Draft and collate correspondence
- Complete claim forms and draft court documents
- File documents electronically online
- Liaise with clients and 3rd parties (insurers & medical experts)
- General legal administrative support
- Providing support and exceptional service to all staff and our clients
- Assisting with new client enquiries
- Booking appointments and diary management
- Qualifying enquiries in line with our processes and procedures
- Data entry using our CRM system
- Reporting to and assisting the personal injury department manager
Desirable Attributes
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a paralegal role
- An intent or purpose in life to help people and change their lives for the better
- Well-spoken, articulate and a friendly disposition
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- A high attention to detail and the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary skills ;
- An open and friendly disposition with emotional intelligence

- A good work ethic and be self-motivated
- A good team player attitude who will embrace the culture and systems of the firm
- Willingness to embrace new technology and work electronically
- Organisational and time management skills
- A willingness to contribute to the promotion of the firm and your own personal profile
- Positive/enthusiastic approach and must show initiative
- Coordination, scheduling, and monitoring skills
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in LEAP software is beneficial, but not a requirement
