PeopleWise currently have a number of HR temporary / contract and permanent positions up for grabs. We seek HR / WHS professionals who are available immediately to commence short- and long-term contracts both part time and full-time hours.

  • Temporary roles with opportunity for possible permanency
  • Positions offering variety across entire HR remit and employee lifecycles
  • Not for profit company, manufacturing and food industry companies
  • Leading and managing people operations and key initiatives

These contracts will provide HR services to internal stakeholders across the business and manage a small team of professionals. These roles will be key in businesses strategy and improvement and will deliver many people and culture-based initiatives aligned with the long-term business strategy.

These positions will encompass the management of the entire employee lifecycle and will experience a great deal of variety and autonomy along with the execution of a variety of projects related to employee engagement, workplace culture, leadership development and capability.

The positions…

These are true HR generalist roles partnering with Leaders and Managers to provide well rounded end to end HR support that will also drive a number of engagement initiatives across the business. What an exciting opportunity to put your entire HR expertise and knowledge to work and hit the ground running.

These roles have a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to; recruitment, induction and onboarding, learning and development, employee engagement, HR administration and HR business partnering.

Day to day…

These positions will maintain the service standards within the HR function to employees and managers including the provision of support in the following areas:

  • Manage recruitment processes
  • Manage the onboarding and induction process
  • Manage people reporting metrics
  • Provide business partnering advice to Leaders providing advice and coaching on various IR and ER matters
  • Provide HR services to the employees
  • Update and maintain HR policies and provide advice
  • Ensure the company is compliant with all HR matters
  • Manage the employee learning and development function
  • Support the talent review and succession planning process
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data
  • Assist managers with the employee performance management and succession plan process
  • Assist and execute various employee engagement initiatives including newsletters, surveys, benefit reviews and culture development.

Who we are looking for...

We are looking for highly credible HR professionals who can demonstrate experience in all facets of people and culture and WHS, including: Employment Law, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Change Management, Organisational Development, Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, WHS, RTW.

This person will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of Employment Law; WHS Legislation, Return to Work protocols and be able to work autonomously across multiple projects and conflicting priorities.

The ideal applicant will need...

  • 3 years HR Management experience
  • Experience in manufacturing or NFP would be highly desirable
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources/WHS or business-related qualification
  • Excellent attention to detail to enable creation of high-quality documents and programs.
  • Someone who can effectively manage relationships internally and externally
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to research, develop and implement programs to improve and maintain HR & WHS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR practices, policies and procedures
  • Experience with organisation and learning and development principles
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment and onboarding practices
  • High level administrative capabilities and organisational skills
  • Strong computer literacy with experience in reporting and record keeping
