DCL Engineering is an Australian owned company that has been servicing the industry in mechanical breakdown repairs and engineering since 1960, servicing customers through DCL's divisions – Engineering, Gearbox Repairs/Overhauls & Surface Engineering. About The Role Are you a hands-on leader with a mechanical mind, ready for your next challenge? We're looking for a Site Supervisor who's confident on the tools, experienced in leading teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, on-site environment to join our Port Kembla workshop. If you take pride in delivering quality work, keeping things running safely and smoothly, and bringing out the best in your crew - we'd love to hear from you. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality work both on-site and in the workshop, making sure every job is completed on time and to spec. You'll also play a key role in managing client breakdown call-outs, ensuring a professional response and timely turnaround every time. Benefits When Working For DCL

Key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):
- Review all planned and scheduled on-site work and workshop requirements
- Follow detailed schematic drawings to complete full strip-downs of existing Mechanical components/parts
- Lead and coordinate all on-site work, ensuring efficient execution
- Supervise the team, ensuring adherence to job requirements, company policies, and processes
- Perform disassembly, overhaul, repair, and reassembly of mechanical components and equipment
- Reassemble and refurbish after completing in-house training
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, maintaining the highest WH&S standards at all times.
Skills And Experience To be successful for this role, you will need:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate Level III in Mechanical Fitting/Turning
- A minimum of 10 years practical exposure ideally in manufacturing or relatable industry
- A minimum of 10 years with gearbox experience
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar role
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Laser alignment experience (Would be ideal)
- Forklift licence (Would be ideal)
- Dogging and Rigging Licence (Would be ideal)
- MR licence ideal (Would be ideal)
