Role Description

We are seeking Engineering Specialists to support ADF capability acquisition and sustainment projects in Sydney and Canberra. The ideal candidates will have experience enhancing technical readiness, navigating the Defence Capability Life Cycle, and contributing to strategic Defence outcomes. Knowledge of project/program acquisition engineering and / or Plan Galileo is highly desirable; however roles may involve a range of activities supporting wider Defence capability.

Qualifications & Experience

· Possess relevant qualifications in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Naval Architecture), with the ability to gain appropriate industry accreditation where applicable.

· Prior experience in a Defence acquisition or sustainment setting or a demonstrated adaptability to integrate into a similar environment.

· A solid understanding of the Defence Capability Lifecycle and maritime sustainment.

· Flexibility to take on tasks across different areas within Defence or Whole of Government organisations.

Due to the nature of the work Geodetica is involved in, candidates are required to hold or have the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Australian Government Security Clearance as a minimum and be eligible to access information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARs).
