Sales Assistant

Introduction: About The Company Envirolab Group comprising Envirolab Services, MPL Laboratories and Labtec Auckland provides a broad range of laboratory testing services such as environmental chemistry, microbiology, asbestos, workplace exposure & air monitoring and product formulation and agrichemicals. We are a NATA-accredited laboratory servicing Environmental Consultants, Mines, Occupational Hygienists, Government Departments, Industry, and the general public by providing great service and quality. Description: About The Role We are looking for a Casual Sales Assistant to join our Darwin office in Winnellie. This role offers 8 hours per week, with the flexibility to work full-time hours when the Sales Representative is on leave. Reporting to the Darwin Sales Representative and National Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Sample Bottle Preparation: Labelling and preparing sample bottles with the appropriate preservation chemicals.
• Order Preparation: Assembling sample bottle packs and equipment for both routine and non-routine sampling programs.
• Logistics & Deliveries: Picking up samples from customers and dropping off orders (own vehicle required).
• Sample Management: Receiving, packaging, and sending samples to our Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth laboratories.
• Customer Service: Handling client calls and emails, providing advice on Envirolab’s testing services, sample preservation, and equipment needs.
• Stock Management: Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure operational efficiency.
• CRM Updates: Maintaining accurate records and client interactions in the CRM system.
• Office Administration: Supporting general office management tasks as needed.

Skills and Experiences: About You The ideal candidate will possess:

• Laboratory knowledge - preferably Chemical
• Willingness to learn about Laboratories
• Able to work alone
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills
• IT skills
• Own car and drivers license
• Qualifications preferable but not essential (Science - Chemistry preferred)
