Account Development Manager - Packaging Solutions

An established, Australian-owned packaging supplier is expanding and looking for a passionate Account Development Manager to strengthen relationships with existing clients and drive business growth. Specialising in flexible and sustainable packaging solutions, the company is dedicated to helping businesses succeed with innovative products and outstanding customer service.

The Role:

This is a newly created role offering the chance to make a real impact. As the key point of contact for clients, you'll work closely with a well-established internal team to ensure seamless service and product delivery. Your focus will be on developing long-term partnerships while identifying opportunities for growth and new product sales, particularly in boxes, glass, and plastic packaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to maximise account potential.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across the company's diverse product range.
  • Develop strategic growth plans for key accounts and conduct targeted outreach to warmprospects.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating customer visits to showcase product solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service and product fulfilment.
  • Provide insights and ideas to enhance sales strategies and customer experience.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, ideally within the packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong ability to nurture client relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • A consultative approach to selling, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
