Senior Hydraulic Engineer

A well-established, engineering consultancy based on the Brisbane is seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join its expanding team.

Responsible for the profitable delivery of Hydraulic design projects, balancing engineering and commercial outcomes, whilst ensuring standards compliance and consistency. This role is responsible for the delivery of hydraulics design services, including carrying out design and checking functions as workload requires.

A multitude of projects including residential, commercial, government, education, and retail, give the right candidate the opportunity to make the role their own.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of hydraulic design services
• Ability to coordinate and deliver hydraulic design services across a range of products, projects, and services.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant Australian standards, NCC and building regulations
• Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to foster and maintain interpersonal and client relationships
• Passion for hydraulic engineering
• Ensuring costs are effectively controlled on assigned work and ensuring work is completed within budgeted timeframes
• Attending client meetings and site visits

Skills required

• 8 plus years of experience in the building and construction industry
• 5 years of experience as a civil, hydraulics, or building services engineer, or 10 years as a technician.
• Relevant qualification (Civil, hydraulics, or building services)
• RPEQ and or QBCC is desirable but not essential
