Remuneration: Band 5 salary from $83,536.96 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Werribee based
About the role
Join our dynamic Corporate Services team, you'll support procurement and contract administration processes with accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing critical systems such as contract management, e-tendering, and supplier portals, as well as providing exceptional support and customer service to internal and external stakeholders. If you have strong customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, this is the opportunity for you. What your day may look like
- You start the day reviewing and actioning items in the procurement mailbox, prioritising urgent tasks and communicating solutions or providing help as required to internal and external clients
- The rest of the morning will include an internal stakeholder meeting where you provide support to the Category Management Partners following up with notes and completing administrative tasks
- Just before lunch you make updates to the supplier portal and assist with bank account or payment terms
- The afternoon is busy where you update and maintain key procurement systems such as the supplier portal, credit card system ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
- You also support the procurement team tracking progress of tenders and follow up on the completion of contract administrative tasks.
What you will bring
- Qualifications Degree or diploma course in Procurement, Business or Finance Administration, or through lesser formal qualifications relevant work skills or experience and work skills relevant for the requirements of this role (required)
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract administrative tasks (desired)
- Strong customer service skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude to deliver exceptional services across the organisation
- Well developed working understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to working with staff and external stakeholders over the phone and in face-to-face meetings in a busy environment
- Previous experience in Local Government or municipal knowledge is desirable.
