Remuneration: Band 6 salary from $101297.04 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO
Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of procurement processes, templates, and other essential supporting documentation to streamline and help standardise the procurement function within the organisation. This will include creating user-friendly templates, process workflows, and guidelines that align with Wyndham’s goals and compliance standards. Additionally, you will lead the development and delivery of procurement training programs aimed at enhancing the capabilities of both new and existing Council staff. This will be key to driving consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all procurement activities.Building strong relationships with stakeholders within Wyndham will be essential for the successful delivery of training across the organisation. What your day will look like
- Design and delivery of learning amp; development and capability improvement programs for procurement processes, procedures and policies.
- Designing and developing technical training programs for face to face and online delivery
- Design, develop and maintain the Procurement Intranet pages including the development of User Guides and support materials to assist staff in their capability development as required.
- Work closely with the Procurement Quality Assurance amp; Risk Advisor as well as the Procurement Manager.
What you will bring
- Degree or diploma course in training or procurement or other relevant discipline with some relevant experience. They might also be acquired through lesser formal qualifications and substantial relevant experience, or through substantial relevant experience in the field of specialist expertise
- .Experience working in local government or other levels of government in procurement or training teams is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in the development, implementation, review and delivery of training programs for procurement or other related functions,
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable). Experience working or knowledge in Procurement is desirable but not essential.
- Lean/Six Sigma or any other Continuous Improvement certificate (desirable).
- Experience working with the TechOne Solution is desirable but not essential.
