About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will oversee software development, data architecture management, and digital system operations, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and stakeholder needs. You will drive governance frameworks, manage compliance through audits and risk assessments, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in software development, data architecture management, and operational digital solutions.

• Implement governance frameworks to ensure projects comply with departmental policies, legislative requirements, and risk management protocols.

• Align project outcomes with organisational priorities, addressing challenges while ensuring legislative obligations are met.

• Facilitate working groups and board meetings, prepare agendas, and present reports according to Queensland Government project management standards.

• Identify critical issues, recommend solutions, and ensure timely resolution while managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

• Develop training materials and tools to support new system rollouts.

• Work alongside the Technical Lead to oversee daily operations, foster continuous improvement, and drive professional development within the team.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Proven experience in project management.

• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing high-performing teams.

• Practical experience in digital environments, including system development and governance.
