AP/AR Specialist

Are you an experienced AP/AR Officer looking for your next career move? We're looking for someone with 2+ years' experience in a similar role to be responsible for the efficient, accurate, and timely undertaking of AP/AR and administrative functions for the Umbrella team.

You will be accountable for:

• Reconciling purchase orders and bills in Xero and managing supplier accounts/accounts payable.
• Raising invoices and pro-actively managing accounts receivable, including debt collection. Discussed and reported weekly.
• Performing daily bank reconciliations, including matching of customer deposits and supplier payments in Xero.
• Processing bank payments, including payments to suppliers and licensors
• Perform credit card allocation and reconciliation.
• Performing month-end reconciliations of AP & AR accounts.
• Performing reconciliations between Xero and the rights/royalty management software.
• Liaising with the Financial Controller regarding proposed payments and authorisation of payments
• Attending to customer and supplier queries, including licensors where required.
• Attending to general office management and admin tasks as directed.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required.

About you:

• Demonstrated, hands on experience using Xero to conduct the above activities.
• Advanced excel skills
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Proven reconciliation skills and experience
