This is an opportunity for driven and enthusiastic candidates to make the move into marketing, under the guidance of a Senior Product Manager, and manage the day-to-day activities of specialty product portfolios in various therapeutic areas including optometry and oncology, including exciting new launch products. Ideally suited for candidates who are highly self-motivated and looking to move into a marketing position to expedite their career in the specialty medicines area. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Senior Product Manager in portfolio management, Incorporating material development, marketing communications and sales training and ensuring compliance with relevant Medicines Australia code of conduct
• Act as key point of contact, on the ground, for internal and external stakeholders
• Help coordinate marketing events, education activities, conferences, and industry partnerships, ensuring activities adhere to industry standards and required documentation is attained
• Assist in the effective management of sales achievement, sales forecasts & expense budgets
• Keep a pulse of the field, developing key market and competitive insights from a range of sources, both qualitative and quantitative
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with brand team members, including Medical, Regulatory, Logistics, Finance and other internal stakeholders

The successful candidates:

• 1-3 years marketing associate experience
• Self-motivated and ambitious individuals looking to take the next step in their career within the pharmaceutical industry
• Ideally will have naturally inquisitive & innovative minds, and likely to enthusiastically engage to develop a strong expertise their given field
• Able to collect & synthesise information from a large range of sources to develop succinct action plans
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with management, colleagues, other departments and external agencies
• Experience working in GP/Pharmacy sales or marketing experience within pharmaceutical industry
• Tertiary qualified - ideally in Science, Applied Science or Marketing will be highly regarded but not essential
• Completed Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
• Able to travel regularly
