Content Strategist

Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Content Specialist. This is a long-term contract role from 1 July 2025 until 31 December 2025, with a 6-month extension term and one possible extension, located at our client’s ACT office with hybrid working arrangements—primarily on-site with the option to work from home in line with departmental policy. As The Selected Candidate, You Will

• Refine website content to meet user needs and promote self-service.
• Develop resources such as videos, interactive guides, and user manuals to assist users in complying with the Australian Education Act 2013.
• Enhance helpdesk operations by developing and refining processes, procedures, scripts, training, and other materials.
• Support communication and stakeholder engagement during the development of a new entitlement management system.
• Implement improvements to the department's service offerings based on user research insights.
• Coach and assist subject matter experts and business team representatives to enhance communication products and stakeholder engagement activities.

To Be Successful In This Role You Should Have

• Proven ability to deliver critical skills, including relevant experience and qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging and communicating with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work proactively in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of communication specialist skills, including customer relationship management, contract management, program calculations, and payment systems.

It Is Desirable If You Have

• Previous experience in a government agency.
