The Role

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team, reporting to the National Maintenance Manager. This key role supports asset reliability within our operations through effective planning of maintenance tasks and associated purchasing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance management processes and strategies that support monitoring, review, and improvement of maintenance procedures
• Create comprehensive maintenance schedules for reactive and planned maintenance activities
• Coordinate purchasing processes to ensure effective supply of materials and services
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure consistent support for operations
• Provide strategic advice to Operations on matters concerning maintenance and reliability
• Support continuous improvement through effective implementation of maintenance management systems
• Monitor and analyze maintenance performance against schedules
• Assist in budgeting processes and future fleet asset management planning

Skills & Experience Required

• Mechanical or Electrical trade certification or relevant tertiary qualifications in Planned Maintenance
• Minimum three years' experience in a manufacturing planned maintenance role
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and machinery operations
• Experience with condition-based and preventative maintenance programs
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for effective task planning
• Strong communication abilities to clearly convey plans to team members
• Problem-solving aptitude to anticipate issues and develop solutions
• Experience with maintenance management systems (MEX experience beneficial)
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering teamwork
