What this opportunity involves: Based in JLL’s corporate office in Adelaide CBD, we have an available vacancy for a Portfolio Accountant to join us. You will work in a small finance and admin team performing administration and accounting activities. You will be responsible for the delivery of tasks across commercial and industrial assets including management reporting, arrears management, accounts payable, month-end accounting, outgoing expenditure recovery reconciliations, reviewing income, deliver the budgeting and forecasting processes.   • Assist with maintaining all property and lease information in MRI
  • Assist in allocation of EFT rental payments from tenants
  • Tenant outgoing recoveries estimates.
  • Journal entries
  • Client remittances
  • Accounts payable coding and issuing of invoices for payment
  • Arrears management
  • Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports
  • Preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recovery.
  • Raise monthly management commissions
  • Reconcile GST Reports.
  • Liaise with Property Managers and their teams on financial reporting matters.
  • Periodically contact client accounting staff on month end reporting
  • General portfolio filing
  • Deal with telephone enquiries from clients’ Property Management staff, clients and auditors.

  • TAFE Certificate or Diploma in Accounting
  • At least 2 years’ of experience in finance and/or office administrative experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily basis
  • Excellent time management and task tracking skills
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills to manage diverse range of stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
