Residential Draftsperson

If this describes you, we have an exciting full-time position available for an experienced ArchiCAD Residential Draftsperson to join our drafting team.The Role As a Residential Draftsperson at GemLife, you will be responsible for drafting/creating innovative floor plans and facades while maintaining and updating ArchiCAD standard templates for residential home designs. Collaborating with team members, departments, and consultants, you will refine design concepts and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, within timeframes, you are an individual who "needs" to see a task completed to time and with creative flair and quality. Essential Skills and Experience: To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) drafting using ArchiCAD or something similar on a PC platform.
• Experienced in taking concept drawings to full construction detailed drawings
• Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail
• Competence in design development, construction documentation, and detailing
• Knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and Local Government regulations
• Minimum 3 years of residential construction experience with a volume home builder
• The motivation to see jobs through to completion within the project timelines at all costs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving abilities and quality control skills
• Organizational skills, including time management and prioritisation.
• Approachable personality with excellent communication skills
