A market leading Civil contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Project Manager – Subdivisions to join their growing business in the Moreton Bay region.

As the Project Manager you’ll be joining a thriving business unit in a management role where you will be responsible for managing a project's programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management and supervision of all technical aspects of the project.

With the team experiencing significant growth, you will play a pivotal role in working on Urban Development projects which will essentially be mostly residential subdivisions with some industrial subdivisions as well on projects up to $100m+.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Management of site project teams
  • Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Resolving site issues in a timely manner
  • Liaising with key clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinating internal and external resources
  • Recruitment and mentoring of teams

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 7 – 15+ years’ experience on civil construction projects. Must have bulk earthworks experience and subdivision experience
  • Project management qualifications will be advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
