  • Cybersecurity Specialists: These experts enjoy the highest pay, averaging $133,000 for entry-level and reaching $181,000 at the top end.

A separate report indicates that over 60% of Australians plan to seek new job opportunities this year, driven by dissatisfaction and cost-of-living pressures. However, they will enter a competitive job market, with an average of 40 applicants vying for every job posting.

Despite these challenges, Australian tech workers remain the highest-paid in the country, earning approximately $20 more per hour than the average employee, with median hourly rates in the science and technology sector showing significant growth.
