Unlike other consulting firms, our OEM domain knowledge allows us to provide our clients with a more comprehensive solution to their grid-related challenges. We are able to provide insights into the most advanced equipment and technologies available, as well as practical solutions to the challenges our clients face. In this role, you represent the Digital Grid execution unit within the Asia-Pacific region, acting as a spokesperson on related matters. It will involve reliable and diligent business administration, including forecasting, planning information, and operational reporting. You will be building, developing, and leading a regional diverse team of experts and consultants. You set and manage their targets and priorities, ensuring they are well-supported in delivering consulting services to local clients. The role directly contributes to shaping and implementing the regional business strategy. This includes ensuring that the goals and guidelines of your execution unit are met, leading to profitable growth and business success for the Grid Consulting portfolio. How You’ll Make An Impact

• Leadership Excellence : Develop and spearhead a dynamic team of experts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation with the ability to inspire, empower, and guide clients and team members towards achieving their goals through effective communication, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
• Strategic Vision : Develop a forward-thinking plan for our Grid Consulting business in the region, crafting a scalable portfolio strategy and identifying growth opportunities and partners.
• Building Networks: Cultivate positive connections with government, regulatory bodies, associations, industry leaders, and collaborators to position Siemens Energy as a trusted partner in the region to navigate regulatory landscapes, policies, and technology application.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the offering and delivery of consulting services, to consistently deliver high-quality services, streamline processes, and optimize resources to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness for clients.
• Financial Acumen: Drive the performance of the regional business effectively, providing sound and reliable financial forecasting & planning, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensure a diligent operational reporting.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in electrical power engineering with relevant professional experience conducting power system analysis both in steady and transient states (minimum 8 years of experience).
• Proven leadership experience in the energy sector, with a focus on consulting and engineering services.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in transmission planning and operational studies (100 kV ~ 765 kV), power system performance analyses including steady state analysis, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination and control system
• Deep understanding of network operators’ grid planning considerations and relevant approval processes (e.g., AEMO, VICGrid). Relevant experience working and communicating with network operators and developers.
• Advanced skills in power electronics applications, such as BESS, Solar, Wind and Electrolysers
• Experience in power system simulation programs (e.g. PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/Simulink).
• Demonstrated successful track record of a consulting project portfolio.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse collaborators.
• An analytical and strategic approach, always eager to explore and implement innovative solutions and apply problem-solving skills within a consulting environment.
• Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%.
