About The Role The Program Officer undertakes a broad range of administrative and program support duties to support the National Teacher Certification team and provides executive support to the cross-sector South Australian Teacher Certification Committee (SATCC). The NTC team provides state-wide leadership, and teaching and learning expertise, to the implementation of South Australian Teacher Certification for Highly Accomplished and Lead teachers and related professional learning that promotes teaching excellence. Teacher certification is undertaken within the National Teacher Certification guidelines and standards. The Program Officer ensures programs and assessments are delivered in a professional and seamless way through effective program and assessment coordination, supporting teachers through the certification process. QualificationsEssential: Nil. Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications such as project management. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
