Test Analyst - Advanced SQL & Data Reporting

About You

We are looking for a Database Tester star in the software community, someone who is passionate about elevating the software testing profession and ideally brings experience from a professional services/consulting background.

You will be engaging with project teams and collaborating with a range of stakeholders, making recommendations, providing guidance and sharing knowledge around testing best practices.

Along with excellent understanding of current and emerging software testing industry thinking, methodologies, standards, frameworks and processes, you’ll have experience in delivering complex testing solutions to a wide range of clients.

Please note: This is a 6-month initial contract with possible extensions and must be based in Brisbane. No remote working options.

The experience, skills and attributes we are looking for include but are not limited to:

• Must have demonstrated & proven experience around data reporting lifecycles on SAP HANA/AWS and PowerBI products
• Experience testing reporting and analytics solutions based on AWS or SAP HANA Business Intelligence platforms
• Data migration testing experience
• Strong SQL query writing ability (Mandatory)
• Testing multi-platform integrated application environments
• Expertise in writing Test Plans and Test Cases from requirements and technical documentation
• Experienced in Agile projects
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including the ability to influence others and work collaboratively to make decisions
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management capability.
• Developing and producing Test Plans expertise
• JIRA, Zephyr, X-ray or Confluence tool experience and skills
• Experienced in reporting risks and issues

Qualifications & desirables:

• Computer Science / Information Technology related university degree
• Ideally you will already possess ISTQB Foundations Certificate or higher (not essential)

Please note: Candidates must have current working rights in Australia and be currently based in Brisbane or able to relocate to Brisbane within 5 – 10 days of contract signing to start this engagement.
