The Role & The Team As a Project and Program Assurance Specialist, you’ll help define project and program assurance strategies and then lead a range of activities such as: project performance monitoring; health checks and deep dives; and stage gate reviews. Through its assurance related responsibilities, this role will help refresh and reinforce Portfolio, Program and Project methodologies, ensuring a successful transition from existing processes into the new operating environment with continued alignment to organisational frameworks and regulatory requirements. You will lead root cause analysis to identify challenges and improve off-track projects and programs. Your contributions will make a significant impact on refining processes and ensuring ongoing project success and continuous improvement. - A degree level qualification in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent.
- Demonstrated Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) experience supporting a complex delivery environment including systems engineering, technology and infrastructure project and programs.
- Extensive experience in project and program assurance, independent review and internal audit.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of various project and program frameworks and methodologies, such as PMBoK, Agile PM, MSP.
- Demonstrated understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and processes (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, VMS, BPMN2 etc.) and how they can be applied to deliver improved project performance and quality outcomes desirable.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to build relationships and effectively influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
